Silk’n Sounds is grateful for the support of private individuals who support us through donations in any amount. Your donation helps to defray the costs of our rehearsal hall, sheet music, copyright fees, costumes and equipment, coaching fees, publicity, outreach and administration and makes it possible for Silk’n Sounds to provide our community with high-quality, low-cost entertainment.

BECOME A CORPORATE SPONSOR
The Silk ‘n Sounds chorus is always grateful for sponsors who support our musical and educational programs. We are financed primarily by dues from our members, paid and ticketed performances, program ad sales, and our own fundraising projects. The support of corporate sponsors frees us to focus on our primary mission – the pursuit of musical excellence in the performance and promotion of four-part a cappella harmony in the American barbershop tradition and the on-going education of our members.
Your contribution at any level supports the chorus in a variety of ways:
- Rehearsal hall costs ($1000 annually)
- Music costs (each new song we sing costs between $100-$300 in arranging fees, “per copy” fees and audio learning tracks)
- Costumes and member equipment
- Performance related expenses (hall rentals, decorations, staging and sound equipment, program production costs)
- Annual weekend education and vocal coaching retreat (between $150-200 per member, plus travel and expenses for International Faculty)
- On-going vocal education and coaching sessions (2-3 sessions per year with International Faculty)
- Publicity and outreach costs
- Printing and Administrative costs
Sponsors at the following levels of support are recognized in all printed programs and other appropriate literature and are entitled to receive without charge an a cappella entertainment package.
- Premier Sponsor $1500 (includes lead recognition from the podium at all performances in addition to front-page program recognition)
- Benefactor $750 (includes recognition from the podium and choice of
placement of program recognition) - Patron $500 (includes prominent program recognition)
